Andre Haddad CEO of Shopping.com
As CEO of Shopping.com, Andre Haddad oversees the overall direction and strategy, while managing day-to-day operations for one of the fastest growing shopping destinations on the Internet.
Prior to joining Shopping.com, Andre held leadership positions across eBay businesses, including vice president of international operations, where he was responsible for international marketing, product marketing, geographic expansion and cross-border trade. Additionally, Andre was vice president of user experience and design, responsible for user interface design, creative design, research and content. Most recently, he served as eBay's senior vice president of product, overseeing product management, design and research.
Before joining eBay, Andre co-founded and successfully ran iBazar, a leading European online marketplace that eBay acquired in 2001. He has also held management positions at Procter & Gamble, Booz Allen & Hamilton, and started his career at leading French retailer Casino.
Andre graduated with highest honors from French Baccalauréat in Lebanon. He holds a Masters in Management degree from HEC Paris.
| | John Mracek Vice President, Distributed Commerce
As Vice President of Distributed Commerce at Shopping.com, John Mracek manages Shopping.com’s advertising network and is responsible for overseeing merchant sales and service, product management, business development as well as partner account management.
Prior to joining Shopping.com in August 2007, John was a vice president of advertiser product marketing at Yahoo!, where he created and led the company’s unified product marketing strategy team including the launch of Yahoo Smart Ads.
Previously, John built a broad and extensive background in startups and world-class, large companies. John started his career as a software engineer, designing the popular Atari videogame cartridges Phoenix and Desert Falcon. Subsequent career moves included Senior Director of Macintosh System Software Marketing at Apple, President of AdKnowledge, a web advertising company, CEO of enterprise software company Covia, and Entrepreneur in Residence at Adobe Ventures.
John holds a Bachelor’s of Computer Science and Engineering degree from MIT.
| | Alisa Weiner Vice President of Online Comparison Shopping
As vice president of online comparison shopping for Shopping.com, Alisa Weiner oversees all business operations for the Shopping.com and DealTime comparison shopping sites, including strategy, product development, Internet and consumer marketing and business analytics. Alisa originally joined Shopping.com in 2006 as director of consumer marketing.
Prior to Shopping.com, Alisa was vice president of advertising and merchandising at Hotwire, joining as one of the company’s earliest hires in April 2000. At Hotwire, she oversaw brand strategy, offline advertising and product merchandising, as well as online and store creative.
Previously, Alisa spent 12 years in various positions in brand marketing and product management at Levi Strauss and Company. While at Levi’s, she worked on the launch of Levi’s silverTab brand, and managed the launch of Levi’s first website in 1995. As the director of e-commerce, Alisa launched and managed the Levi’s and Dockers online stores, overseeing merchandising, marketing and product development.
Alisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Davis
| | Gautam Thakar General Manager of Shopping.com, International
As general manager for Shopping.com’s international business, Gautam Thakar is responsible for driving the business in the company’s International portfolio which currently includes Germany, UK, France and Australia across the comparison shopping and advertising network businesses.
Gautam is a long time e-commerce veteran with startup, general managerial and international experience. He was previously Senior Director of international marketing at eBay where he led the Global Marketing Leadership team across Europe and Asia. Prior to this Gautam was the country manager of eBay in India where he was responsible for the overall strategy and business results of the Marketplace. He joined eBay upon the acquisition of baazee.com, where as CMO and member of the early management team he was responsible for Marketing, Category management, Product and Business development at various stages.
Prior to his time at eBay, Gautam served as the regional brand manager for detergents at Procter & Gamble in Asia. Gautam spent close to 5 years with P&G helping launch and build brands such as Tide, Ariel, Gain & Ezee. Gautam was also a member of the Market Development leadership team for the Laundry and Health care business in India and the Philippines.
Gautam holds a Master in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and a Graduate degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Bombay University.
| | Delphine Magnier Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer for Shopping.com, Delphine Magnier oversees the finance and administrative functions of the business.
She joined the company in April 2007 from eBay France, where she spent five years as Finance Director, building and running the finance organization under a phenomenal business growth. She was responsible for financial planning and analysis, strategy, control and accounting and human resources.
Prior to her time at eBay, Delphine served as controller for iBazar, a leading European online marketplace, before the company was acquired by eBay in 2001. Delphine has also held various finance positions at IBM and Air Products, in Paris and London.
Delphine earned a Masters degree in Economics and Business from Paris-Dauphine University, and a Graduate degree in Corporate Finance from IAE.
| | Orit Ziv Human Resources Director
As human resources director at Shopping.com, Orit Ziv leads the global HR team for Shopping.com. Orit’s responsibilities include coaching and mentoring the leadership team, ensuring consistency throughout all HR policies, procedures and practices between the Shopping.com and eBay organizations. She also oversees the creation and implementation of appropriate development programs for personnel at all levels in the organization.
She joined the company in March 2007 from Shopping.com Israel, where she spent two years as a senior human resources manager, leading the local HR team and supporting the Product Catalog Services operation
Prior to Shopping.com, Orit worked at Be’Gisha Shona as a human resources consultant.
Orit received a Master’s degree in Counseling-Occupational Psychology from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Haifa University.
